Meet the Scrutiny Board
The Scrutiny Board is made up of Nine Tenants and One Leaseholder. The Scrutiny Board will examine how Sandwell Homes services are performing and make recommendations for improvements to the Company Board.

Joan is a member of Sandwell Homes' Oldbury Housing Service Panel. Joan enjoys volunteering as she feels she has a lot to offer.
"I volunteered to join the Scrutiny Board to help make a difference and to create an efficient and understanding Scrutiny Board. I would like to see Sandwell Homes become a flagship for others to follow. |

| Tracy is a member of Sandwell Homes' Rowley Regis Housing Service Panel and has a lot of experience in the voluntary sector. She has been a School Governor at a local Primary School and a case worker with Birmingham Money Advice and Birmingham CAB. |
Stembile is a qualified Town Planner and Gender Analyst and has an extensive work history in multi-cultural settings as well as in developmental control, house inspections and service delivery. She was an Acting Director of Housing and Community Services (1998-2000) with the Municipality of Marondera, Zimbabwe. |
Tony has been a Trustee of Ideal for All for five years and has been the Chair of Sandwell Visually Impaired (SVI) for the past eighteen months. Tony feels that he has the necessary skills to enable him to become a positive and responsible participant to the Scrutiny Board. As a Leaseholder, Tony is a regular attendee at the Leaseholder Forum. Tony understands the importance of giving people an equal voice, to respect their views but also to challenge and evoke debate where necessary. |

Neil, who is a member of Sandwell Homes' Wednesbury Housing Service Panel, has lived in Wednesbury for 36 years and is looking forward to the challenge of continuously improving services for tenants.
"I will do my best to make sure the services we deliver, make a difference to the standard of living for Sandwell Homes' tenants." |
Dot is a member of Sandwell Homes' West Bromwich Housing Service Panel and is involved with a number of voluntary organisations including Ideal for All and Agewell.
"My ambition for Sandwell Homes is to make sure that we can keep improving for the future." |
Akim has lived in Sandwell for 9 years and has gained experience in all aspects of housing provision, planning, building design, construction, maintenance improvement, disabled adaptations, property and project management. |

| Andy currently works for West Northamptonshire Development Corporation which is a regeneration body funded by Central Government. he has been involved in the Charlemont Farm Tenants and Residents Association for a number of years and took part in the Charlemont Neighbourhood Planning project. |
