Accessibilty
Introduction
We have made every effort to make this site accessible and easy to use for everyone, regardless of the browser you should choose to use, the speed of your internet connection or if you have any disabilities. This site is under continuous review and we are always looking for ways to improve the services it provides.
Links
Wherever possible links are written to make sense out of context enabling browsers such as JAWS, Lynx or Opera to extract a list of links on a page. Wherever possible link text is never duplicated on a page.
Images
All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes. Purely decorative graphics, including those as part of the site layout, include null ALT attributes or are set as background images.
Visual Design
The site uses cascading style sheets for visual layout. The site uses only relative font sizes, compatible with the user-specified ‘text-size’ option in visual browsers. You can change your text settings through your browser options: in Internet Explorer, go to View > Text size and select your desired text size setting (eg. larger, smaller); in Netscape browsers go to View>Text size. Select a larger or smaller 'percentage' or click on 'larger'’ (or ‘smaller’) to go one size up or down. This website has been designed for a screen resolution of 1024 x 768. Consult your system help on how to adjust your display settings.
JavaScript
The use of JavaScript on the this website has been kept to a minimum, however, disabling JavaScript within your browser with not affect your use of the website. Some forms on the website uses Javascript for form validation. With JavaScript disabled, this validation will not work but your form will still be submitted successfully.
Forms
There are several forms on this website (for example, Feedback and Contact forms). Within each form the Tab Order has been set enabling you to tab through the form to successive form elements.
Internet Browsers
This website has been tested in a variety of browsers including Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Lynx and Safari.
Access Keys
A set of standard access keys have been used to allow those who can not use a mouse, or just prefer to use the keyboard to navigate between main sections of the site by using the keyboard.
