Decent Homes Standard
The Government has set a target to ensure that all social housing meets standards of decency by 2010, which is commonly referred to as the Decent Homes Standard. This will ensure that all of our tenants will have access to and should expect a minimum standard of housing. Sandwell Homes is committed to ensuring that the Decent Homes Standard is achieved in all council properties by the end of 2010.
Sandwell Homes Five Year Decent Homes Investment Programme
The Five Year Decent Homes Investment Programme provides details of the year and the order of estates in which we anticipate that our tenants will have decent homes improvements made to their homes, between now and the end of 2010.
