Meeting Diverse Customers Needs
With a strong emphasis on customer care the ‘Meeting Diverse Customer Needs’ training event has been developed to challenge delegates to consider the effects of personal behaviour when meeting our customers.
The course, will, as part of our culture change programme also provide an opportunity to deliver a number of essential messages to promote the values of the organisation through the customer services we deliver within the diverse community of Sandwell. The full-day training course is run on a monthly basis and is delivered to all employees within Sandwell Homes.
By the end of the programme, delegates will have:
- Built an understanding of equality and diversity – and why they are so both important and inter-related
- Considered different attitudes towards equality and diversity
- Recognised why everyone should promote and encourage fairness of opportunity and diversity at work
- Understood and explored discrimination and practiced ways to identify and deal with it effectively
- Reviewed current and upcoming legislation and the impact it has within the workplace.
