Sandwell Community Information Participation Service
Sandwell Community Information & Participation Service Ltd (SCIPS) is a non-political, independent and charitable organisation led by Sandwell residents, primarily being involved with the tenant movement.
They offer facilities, skill and expertise and provide a range of high quality services and a link for all communities to consult on local, regional and national housing and regeneration issues.
However, with Big Lottery Funding up until March 2009, SCIPS are also currently able to offer additional support both to tenants and other local community groups. Such services include assistance in identifying potential funding sources, development of high quality promotional materials (including webpages), copying and printing services (up to 1,000 A4 copies maximum), issue based IT training, plus signposting to funding information and high quality IT training resources.
We can also offer to group’s usage of a fully equipped meeting facility as well as Internet access (both available on a pre-booking basis).
