Please make all cheques payable to Sandwell Council.

* Please note, in some instances payments made via direct debit appear to be in arrears. This is because of the time it takes for banks to clear funds and is not actually arrears. Should this happen, please contact your local neighbourhood office where the problem can be sorted out.

If you fail to keep up with rent payments you will fall into arrears and you will be sent warning letters advising you of the debt and requesting payment. Should you not respond, or fail to keep to agreements to repay the debt in a reasonable time, legal proceedings will be started which could result in the loss of your home.
