►29 June - Bin Day Change
Starting this week (beginning June 27), residents will have their domestic waste, recycling and garden waste collected on the same day.
|
It means an end to different collection days for your domestic rubbish, recycling and garden waste.
Domestic waste (what you put in your bin bag) will continue to be collected weekly. Recycling and garden rubbish will remain a fortnightly service.
How to find out what your new collection day is:
Text: Text the words SANDWELL BINDAY, your postcode and house number to 60003 and we will text you back with your new collection day.
Leaflet: This week you'll receive a leaflet through your door with details of your new collection day and a calendar for you to keep.
Phone: Contact Sandwell Council by phone on 0845 359 7501 between 8am-8pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-1.30pm on Saturday.
Please note, this bin day change does not affect residents living in flats, apartments, sheltered housing and other properties with communal bin stores.
