Anti-Social Behaviour
Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) is any behaviour that disrupts the peace and comfort of other tenants and residents or adversely affects their health and safety. ASB can be anything that prevents another person from enjoying their home, garden, estate or neighbourhood. The claim ASB can be against an individual or group. So ASB is another name for being a bad neighbour!
We have established Specialist Teams to tackle Anti Social Behaviour. These teams work closely with neighbourhood office staff, and Police to prevent, tackle and resolve incidents of Anti Social Behaviour. You can contact your Housing Officer via your Local Neighbourhood Office who will carryout the initial investigation of your complaint. They will then involve the Specialist Anti Social Behaviour Team.
If Anti Social Behaviour persists following the intervention of the Specialist teams and there is no resolution then Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Councils (SMBC) Anti Social Behavior Team will be consulted on the case with a view to take enforcement action SMBC Anti Social Behaviour Website
