This vacancy exists within the Housing Options Service.
The Housing Options Service is responsible for providing the statutory homeless function on behalf of the Council with a clear emphasis on early intervention and prevention of homelessness.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the provision of an efficient and effective administration function within the Housing Options Team. Undertaking the preparation of statistical and performance information and monitoring of the prevention fund.
The post holder must possess:
- 12 months experience of working within a homelessness, social housing or related environment.
- The ability to organise and prioritise own and others workloads
- Experience of dealing with customers, both face to face and by telephone.
